Dandelions day nursery is situated in Farndon, near Chester. We are a family-oriented busy day nursery , which provides care and education, meeting each unique child’s needs. We nurture every child to be curious, creative and independent learners. Our indoor and outdoor environments are enriched with open ended activities, where children can be safe and happy to explore and learn. We were last OFSTED inspected in 2022 and were awarded GOOD.

WE NOW OFFER FREE PLACES TO 2, 3 AND 4 YEAR OLDS
Our pre-school sessions are run by qualified teachers, who specialise in Early Years. We offer government funded childcare throughout the year. If you live in England or Wales, your 3 or 4 year old child is entitled to up to 15 hours funded high quality education. If you work, you may be eligible for an additional 15 hours of funded childcare. With Dandelions you can choose to spread these hours over the whole year or use them during school terms. There is also funding for eligible 2 year olds, please ask us for details. Please do come and chat to us about your options.
Funding can be split between two settings. We pick up from and drop off to Farndon school nursery, but we require children to spend a minimum of 2 school days in our pre-school class. This helps to ensure that children are settled and is better for all the children in our care.

A HOME AWAY FROM HOME
Our before and after school club will give your child a welcome at the beginning or end of every school day. We are happy to pick up and drop off from Farndon Primary school. The children have meals with us and we are happy to hear your child read or support them with their homework.

You are welcome to visit us, we would love to show you around. Please call to make an appointment by dropping us an email on the link below or call us on 01829 272277. We politely ask you to avoid between 11:45 and 13:30 as it's lunch time for staff and children. We look forward to seeing you.
